Gymnastics is the foundation of all sport because it teaches children how to control their bodies.  Our program is designed to help children become stronger and more flexible. When a child does something they worked hard at, they feel good about themselves.  KID COR is intended to be fun and teach the children to be safe while practicing gymnastics. The skills and determination young gymnasts learn can benefit them in all aspects of their lives.

Gymnastics combined with yoga gives children confidence in their bodies and their ability to control their movement.  It teaches them that being flexible and being strong is a part of being healthy. And it teaches them that they can succeed in things they at first thought they could not do. This helps build self-confidence and self-esteem.

The benefits from gymnastics training include: flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, and agility.  The instructor begins each session by breaking down skills into progressions appropriate for each student and within their ability to achieve assures of individual success.

In KID COR, kids are not competing against each other or other gyms, but rather they work on certain skills and improving.  The instructor will bring in new equipment periodically and teach the children new events: bars, beam, floor, and vaulting. 

Children love to have something to look forward to. Having KID COR at their school is something for them to look forward to. It is a place to have fun and release all their built up energy from being in class. It is also a place where children have positive experiences, which later turn into wonderful memories.
